The perfect drinking cup for persons with tremors

This drinking cup has been especially designed for persons with tremors or motor impairments. For example, persons with a mental or physical disability such as Parkinson's disease, spasms and tremors.

The cup looks just like an average cup. Perfect size including large handle to grip round or under. Easy drinking without straws, spouts or lids.

The innovative insert has been especially designed for this cup and helps to keep the liquid inside the cup, even during uncontrolled movements. The holes at the side of the insert allow that the liquid in the cup can flow through at a speed of 15 to 18 ml/s when the cup is tilted. This allows users to drink normally.

Attention; the SASSCup isn't a spill-proof cup! 

This practical cup is supplied including insert, but can also be used as a normal cup without insert. The insert can be easily removed. Available in 8 stylish colours. 

The SASSCup can be used with thickeners. Liquids with a thickness comparable to yoghurt drinks will flow through slower, but can be used in the cup. Custard or yoghurt is not recommended. 

The cup and the insert are dishwasher safe and can also be cleaned with warm water and a brush. The SASSCup is made of hydrophobic material and is water and dirt resistant, which makes the cup easy to clean. 

The SASSCup has been developed by students and has been extensively tested, and is produced in the Netherlands.
